Policies for returns and refunds
The User must email the Holder at info@samonde.com if they wish to cancel their agreement. Instructions on how to return the Product will be given to the User. In the event of a withdrawal, the Holder must promptly and within 14 days of the User’s notice of withdrawal, repay the User for all payments made and associated delivery fees.
By using the same payment method as the User used to make the online transaction, the Holder will reimburse the User. Within 14 days of sending the Holder a notice of withdrawal, the User must send the Products back using a shipping method of their choosing at their own expense. As long as the product is in his possession, the user is responsible for maintaining its integrity. As such, the user must take all necessary precautions to protect the product and do everything in his power to ensure that it is returned in the best possible condition, including the undamaged original packaging, manuals, accessories, and any other separate item or component. The Product must not have undergone any handling that was not strictly required to ascertain its nature, characteristics, and mode of operation. Requests for Product returns won’t be considered by the Holder if the returned item malfunctions as a result of abuse, negligence, physical damage, cosmetic alteration, tampering, incorrect maintenance, or normal wear and tear. After the merchandise has been approved for return, the consumer has 14 days to send it back. Any unlawful returns—those received after 14 days—may be refused by Samonde, who reserves the right to do so. Defective goods may be returned by the customer. The item must be returned to Samondeonce it has been agreed upon in writing and within the warranty period outlined in our terms of warranty (on the page referring to the terms and conditions). The customer must state whether they want a replacement, repair, or refund. Absence of the right to withdraw.
EXCLUSION OF THE WITHDRAWAL RIGHT
The following are exempt from the right of withdrawal: the supply of sealed goods that have been opened after delivery; and the provision of goods or services whose prices are subject to fluctuations in the financial markets that the trader has no control over and may happen within the withdrawal period. Products may be returned by the consumer within 15 days of the invoice date. Each request will be carefully considered by Samonde.
Samonde maintains the right to keep a portion of 15% of the purchase price for a used product and 40% for a new product if they are given a return authorization. Our business has difficulty when non-defective products are returned because there may only be one available. If there are any additional consumers, we would be in a position where we could not satisfy their needs. Additionally, if a brand-new, sealed item is sent and returned unsealed, its market worth will have changed. If a return is sent to our warehouses in subpar condition, Samonde reserves the right to reject it. All goods must be returned in their original, undamaged condition. includes any manufacturer-supplied boxes, packing supplies, manuals, cables, and other accessories that were included in the initial shipment from Samonde. Samonde has the right to reject the return of defective goods or to impose a minimum 15% restocking fee on approved returns. The cost of return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. The customer has the ability to hire the courier of his choice and to utilize insurance material to cover any damage that may have happened in transit of returns. Your chosen delivery option must have a tracking number in order to allow for the possibility of receiving a shipment confirmation. The transportation of returned goods may result in loss or damage for which Samonde is not responsible. Samonde disclaims all liability for any harm that might be sustained while the product is being returned in transit. Customers must correctly pack the product(s) or the original manufacturer’s box containing the product in a shipping box with packaging material in order to reduce the risk of damage to the products during transit. The product must be adequately wrapped in packaging foam or bubble wrap, as the responsibility of the customer. No shipping of the goods is permitted without packing. Each product should be put into a separate box since this is the suggested approach by Samonde for product returns. If this isn’t possible, the customer is still allowed to place numerous items in the same box as long as they are all secured by antistatic bags and kept apart from one another by packaging foam or bubble wrap to prevent damage. Products cannot be returned unless they are properly packaged inside the box. Never send back goods in a shipping box that has been crushed or otherwise damaged.
DAMAGED GOODS IN TRANSIT
The customer should refuse delivery from the courier if a shipment containing the goods Samonde ordered comes to their doorstep in poor shape.
If the customer accepts delivery of the package, the following requirements must be followed: (i) the customer must note any damage on the courier’s delivery receipt so that Samonde can file a complaint; (ii) the customer must keep the delivered products in their original packaging; and (iii) the customer must promptly contact Samonde by email at info@samonde.com to request an inspection of the courier and the removal of any damaged goods. Samonde will be deemed to have accepted the products as if they had arrived intact and will be granted a regular right of withdrawal if the customer fails to note the damage, retains the products they have received, the original box, and packaging, and fails to notify Samonde within 5 days of delivery acceptance.
REFUNDS
If the items specify that we will receive them exactly as Samonde shipped them, a refund will be given after a comprehensive examination of the returned item. The refund will be processed five working days after the products are received. There will be an email notification sent to you.
